With HTC confirming its attendance at next month’s Mobile World Congress, many are speculating that they will be launching the HTC Primo during the event. Along with rumors of launching the HTC Edge and HTC Ville, the budget and latest smartphone by the company is expected to make its debut to the public.

People have been patiently awaiting the debut of the HTC Primo as it is a compact phone capable of so much. Having a 3.7-inch Super AMOLED screen furnished with Gorilla Glass protection, the phone only measures a surprising 9mm. Albeit its low specs, the HTC Primo is pre-equipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, this means no more waiting for the latest OS to come out. Moreover, this is one of the affordable HTC phones equipped with ICS OS; considering their previous Android 4.0 devices have all been high-end entries.

As for its processor, the HTC Primo has a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor. It also features 512MB RAM. Its rear camera is capable of 5MP images and 720p video.

But what really excites many, apart from its Android 4.0 availability, is the fact that the HTC Primo is packed with the same technology as Beats Audio. What’s more is that its price is suspected to be around $380.
