HP’s first Android tablet, the 7-inch Slate 7, will be available in the UK starting with May 1, and it will be quite affordable priced at £129.

The device can be already ordered on HP’s UK site, and will ship in “1-2 weeks,” although, as you can see in the image below, the retailer clearly lists May 1 as a launch date for the tablet.

The HP Slate 7 features a 7-inch LCD display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 1.6GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, microSD support, 3-megapixel camera, VGA front-facing camera, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, Beats Audio,13.4WHr battery and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean running the show.
