google play movie rental

Well, well! Google has just kicked off a nice little promo that lets you grab a hot new rental title for half off. It looks like this deal is only going to last until March 17, 2016, so you’re going to have to jump on it in the next two weeks if you want to get in on the action.

To take advantage of this offer, all you have to do is pick out a movie from the collection on display on this promo’s landing page. When you go to checkout, the 50% off benefit will be applied automatically. Note that this only works for one rental, so you won’t be able to use this offer over and over again (cough unless you have multiple Google accounts and more than one internet-savvy device cough). Once you finish checking out, you’ll have thirty days to watch your selection before it expires.

The list of available movies is pretty nice. Spectre and The Martian both made the list, as did Bridge of Spies and Ant Man. If you missed out on a lot of theatrical releases in 2015, now’s your chance to get caught back up.

This offer may only be valid in the US, so if you’re checking it from another part of the world, let us know in the comments if you can get the discount where you’re located. Also let us know which of these rentals looks like the best pick for a movie night.
