Google Pixel 4 Coral Color Leak

The Google Pixel 4 series is unwrapping pretty quickly thanks to daily leaks popping up from all corners of the world.

New images leaked on Chinese social media platform Weibo (via Ben Geskin on Twitter) show an apparent Pixel 4 in an orange avatar alongside the previously seen black and white colorways.

One of the leaked images shows the device in black, white, and the new orange color. The Weibo tipster calls the new shade “Coral,” which is in tune with previous Pixel 4 color rumors.

We see that the new color resembles a peachy orange hue, also seen on existing Google products like the Home Mini smart speaker. The final shade could be a little different owing to the lighting conditions in which these images are taken.

The power button on the right edge is accented with a slightly lighter shade of orange. Meanwhile, the square camera bump stands out against the Coral in black. It is worth noting that “Coral” is also a known code-name for the Pixel 4, lending further credence to the leak.

This time around, Google seems to be ditching the Pixel 3’s dual-tone back on the new phones. The previously outed black and white colors also don’t show signs of a dual-tone design.

Another image of the supposed Coral Pixel 4 (leaked by the same Weibo source) shows the full back of the phone, complete with an orange Google logo at the bottom. A separate picture also apparently shows the front of the device which is black in color.

Google traditionally releases the Pixel phones in three colors. The Pixel 3 was launched in Just Black, Clearly White, and Not Pink colorways, while the latest Pixel 3a series got a new Purple-ish hue added to the standard white and black options.

We’re not sure if Google will simply call this new color Coral, but it’s probably going to be something along similar lines to the past. “Orange-y” or “Coral-ish” perhaps?
