You know what they say about the early bird.

Google Pixel 4 Best Buy Summary Page

We don’t expect the Google Pixel 4 to land for at least another month, but that hasn’t stopped Best Buy from posting a brief summary page for the device. You can see the page for yourself by heading to the Best Buy website.

The page is pretty bare-bones for now, essentially giving a brief summary of what Google has already publicly revealed about the Google Pixel 4 and its larger sibling, the Pixel 4 XL.

On the page, you can see the first official image Google tweeted out of the new smartphone. You’ll also find descriptions of Motion Sense, which is the marketing name for Google’s Project Soli. Motion Sense uses radar sensors on the front of the Pixel 4 to allow you to manipulate the device without needing to physically touch it.

Since Motion Sense uses actual radar, the feature won’t be available in all countries at launch, and the Best Buy page comes right out and says that. Here’s a list of the countries we are pretty certain will see Motion Sense features.

Further on down the page, there’s an email sign-up form in which you can ask Best Buy to notify you when the Google Pixel 4 will be available for purchase.

The info on this microsite is all stuff we already knew, but it’s curious that Best Buy has it up so early. Is it trying to drum up extra sales by getting you to enter your email address? Is this part of some partnership with Google? Will we see new info on this page before we see it from other sources? We’ll need to keep an eye on it for now.
