Google Now weather cards now include highs and lows for the day
Google has made a small change to multi-city weather cards in Google Now, so they now display the day’s highs and lows, alongside the current temperature.
The update only concerns the multi-city card, so if Now only shows you weather updates for one city, the card will remain unchanged. The multi-city cards are a recent addition to Now – until an update at the end of May, Now simply showed a separate card for each city.
It’s a small, but potentially useful improvement, and, as with all Google Now updates, you don’t have to do anything to activate it – Now is entirely cloud-based, so Google can roll out updates like this without issuing OTAs. On the flip side, that means you will have to wait for Google to activate the feature for your account.
This is the latest in Google’s constant buildup of features in Google Now – the new “OK, Google” hotword support from all screens and the support for multiple languages (coming soon) are two of the most important additions from the past weeks.
