It isn’t cheap to outfit your apartment or home with smart home products. For example, the Google Home and Home Hub cost $129.99 and $149.99, respectively. That said, Target takes the sting off a bit and throws in a free Google Home Mini when you buy either the Home or Home Hub.

This is a very short-term deal — the deal ends tonight at 11:59PM PST. The good news is that the deal also applies if you order the devices for in-store pick-up and saves you $49.99 on a Home Mini purchase.

You might not have had a Home Mini in mind, but this gives you a second way to communicate with Google Assistant. For example, you can place the Home Hub in the kitchen and the Home Mini in your bedroom. Alternatively, you can place the Home in your bedroom and the Home Mini in your bathroom.

Editor's Pick

The Home is Google’s first foray into the world of smart speakers. With the device, you can call up Google Assistant to control your smart home devices, make hands-free calls, set up daily routines, look up recipes, and much more.

The Home Hub does everything that the Home does and adds a seven-inch display to the mix. That way, you can use your voice to look up YouTube videos and have visual indicators of your commands and how the device carries them out.
