On April 1st, Goat Simulator was launched as sort of a half-joke, but has since become a massive hit with over a million in sales. Up until now, the strange hit was only available for the PC crowd, but this is about to change. Coffee Stain Studios took to Twitter earlier today to announce they are bringing out a mobile version for Android and iOS.
If you have never heard of it, the game lets you control a goat, and the whole purpose of the game is to use that goat to inflict as much chaos and destruction as you can muster via head butts, weapons and more.
Obviously the game’s premise isn’t exactly serious, but it has been lauded for its near-addictive and fun nature. So when will we be able to experience the goat-inflicted madness on our favorite Android devices? The developers behind the game haven’t given an exact timeframe just yet, though we’ll be sure to keep you updated as soon as we learn more specifics.
For those that have played the game on PC, glad to see it come to Android? For those that have never played (or even heard of) it, intrigued by the (somewhat mindless) idea?
