Galaxy Note 3

We already knew that the Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear would be available via T-Mobile in-stores and online starting October 2nd, but now the uncarrier has also revealed that pre-orders for the Next Big Thing begin on September 18th.

The Note 3 will set T-Mobile customers back just $199.99 upfront, and then will require 24 monthly payments of $21. While T-Mobile didn’t specifically mention whether or not the Galaxy Gear will also be available for pre-order on the 18th, we do know that the smart watch will cost $299.99 outright.

So what does the Note 3 bring to the table? Quite a bit actually.

As a refresher, the U.S. version of the Note 3 is powered by a 2.3Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, and is accompanied by 3GB of RAM. There’s also a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 32/64GB storage, microSD, a 13MP back cam, a 2MP front cam, NFC, an IR Blaster, a 3200 mAh battery and a redesigned S-Pen. The handset also comes with Android 4.3 and includes tons of special software features.

For those interested in picking up the Note 3 from a different carrier, Verizon and AT&T already have pre-order pages up and running. Sprint and U.S. Cellular will also carry the Galaxy Note 3, though they haven’t started taking pre-orders just yet.
