Tweet to get in line for a Galaxy Nexus from Bell Canada. One of the Galaxy Nexus’s Canadian carrying-partner will offer a virtual line on December 1 through Twitter. This first of its kind online purchasing system will assure 100 Canadians of a unit to be shipped before the store units arrive on December 8.

Bell’s press release on MobileSyrup instructs the customer to log in to Twitter between 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. on December 1. To assure a spot on the virtual line, tweets about the product must be sent out every hour for the next 12 hours starting at 10:00 A.M. The first to the 100th successful tweeter will be contacted for shipping arrangements.

Aside from the purchase through Twitter, you can also preorder through Bell’s online shop.  Bell began accepting preorders yesterday.

The new Samsung device is priced at $159.59 for Bell and $159.99 for Virgin Mobile. Both prices are for handsets tied to 3-year contracts.

The Galaxy Nexus is the flagship handset for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Gaming, surfing and viewing will also be much faster with its support for 4G speeds and it is also more real-life with its 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display.

Another unique feature is Face Unlock, which requires the user to simply look at the camera to unlock the phone. For connectivity, Android Beam lets the user share contents with other Android powered devices using Near Field Communication (NFC).

Are you lining up for the Galaxy Nexus online?  Or are you hitting Canadian stores on December 8?  Have you preordered your Galaxy Nexus?
