“Samsung’s ongoing collaboration with Google has resulted in a next generation smartphone that has both superior functionality and a stunning user-experience,” said Paul Brannen, Vice President, Mobile Communications at Samsung Electronics Canada. “The large, responsive HD SuperAMOLED screen offers users full 720p video playback on the device, and accommodates the new Android 4.0 user interface that is based on soft keys.”

If that was not enough, Virgin Mobile has updated their website specifically for the Galaxy Nexus. On the website, Virgin Mobile boasts the following specifications about the device:

  • Ultra-slim and curved design
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with Android Market
  • Dual Core 1.2 GHz Processor
  • 4.65” HD Super AMOLED display
  • 5 MP rear camera with 1.3 MP front camera

Virgin Mobile has publicly announced that the device will be available in “early December”. In addition, they claim that you will be able to hook the device up to one of their “super-fast 4G network covering 96% of the Canadian population.” Finally, the official price has not been announced by Samsung or Virgin Mobile. But, you will most likely be looking at $299 with a new contract or upgrade, and $650-$700 unsubsidized.
