The Galaxy F has become a familiar sight over the past weeks, even if we’re yet to see anything resembling official information on the device.
Now it’s time for another alleged image of the Galaxy F, the super high-end Samsung device that may or may not be the same with the Galaxy S5 Prime. The source is @evleaks, who published the image above, along the description “Samsung GALAXY F, in ‘perfect golden’ hue, 2014.”
The image seems to match previous leaks, showing the slim bezels we’ve seen in the actual pics from last week, and the brushed metal finish that @evleaks himself brought to light in his first alleged leaked render of the Galaxy F. This time we get to see the golden version of the device, which should come as no surprise to anyone following trends in smartphone design over the past year.
One detail casts some doubt over the veracity of this leak – the date shown on the screen, September 12, falls this year on a Friday, not a Wednesday. It’s possible that a lazy designer just threw a random date in there, but press renders are usually accurate when it comes to these things. We might be looking at a mockup, concept, or a render that wasn’t meant for public concept, and we can’t rule out this being a hoax.
For what is worth, the first Galaxy F render had February 24, Monday on the display, which was – incidentally or not – the day the Galaxy S5 launched at MWC Barcelona.
