We’ve seen several companies offering a free screen repair with their phones over the years. This definitely gives users some peace of mind in the event that they accidentally drop their device.

Samsung arguably popularized this practice with its ADH service for the Galaxy S4, and we subsequently saw Huawei offer a similar program from the P8 onwards. These days, free screen repairs tend to either be part of a paid service (e.g. Samsung Care Plus), a region-specific offering (e.g. the POCO F3 in the UK), or a thing of the past.

Either way, we want to know how important free screen repairs are to you when buying a new phone. Let us know by taking the poll below.

For what it’s worth, my current phone didn’t come with a free screen repair option and it wasn’t something I was actually looking for. I bet my outlook would’ve changed if the screen broke within the first few months, but the device hasn’t suffered from any serious display damage. Nevertheless, do vote in the poll or leave a comment if you have more thoughts.
