Motorola is currently running a rather tempting deal for new Moto X customers. If you design your new handset through Moto Maker website you will also receive a second generation Moto E (3G) upon checkout, worth $119.99, completely free.
The offer applies if you want to purchase the handset up front and unlocked or if you choose one of the two year contract options from AT&T or Verizon. Unfortunately for some, the deal appears to be locked to US customers only.
The latest Moto X is a full HD 5.2-inch handset complete with a quad-core Snapdragon 801 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16/32/64GB memory options, and a 13MP rear camera. The lower-end 3G Moto E features a quad-core Snapdragon 200 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 5MP rear camera and a 540×960 4.5-inch display.
The free Moto E promotion is running through until the 24th of March, leaving a week, at the time of writing, to capitalize on the offer. This seems like a pretty good deal if you’re looking for some new phones for the family and you never know when a backup handset might come in handy.
