Flipboard update brings hover support, accounts creation with Facebook

A new Flipboard update has been released and, while it's just a small one, it does bring hover support, useful for future Samsung Galaxy S4 users.

A Flipboard update for the Android app has been released today and, while it’s not a huge improvement (like the 2.0 version promises to be), it still does come with a couple of useful things.

First of all, the new Flipboard update comes with support for devices that use hover, making it ready for the Samsung Galaxy S4’s Air View features. In other words, you will be able to see headlines in a certain category or see previews of article content by just hovering your finger over it.

Another thing the new update brings is the possibility to create new Flipboard accounts using Facebook, which could be pretty useful for new users (if there are persons in the world that are not already using Flipboard, that is).

Apart from that, it’s just “improvements and bug fixes.” Of course, everyone’s waiting for the big Flipboard 2.0 update, which should come soon, and about which you can find out more in the video below.
