We all have a few friends on Facebook that can be quite annoying at times, right? Especially during summer when your feed can get flooded with holiday pictures, or during sporting events when people like to get in all sorts of arguments. If you want to avoid all the drama but at the same time don’t want to unfriend anyone, we have some great news.

Facebook has confirmed to TechCrunch that it’s currently testing a Snooze feature that lets you unfollow friends, pages, as well as groups for a limited amount of time — 24 hours, one week, or 30 days. Nice!

In order to Snooze someone, all you have to do is click on the icon in the top right corner of someone’s post, select the “Unfollow or Snooze” option, and then just pick a time frame. You can see what this looks like in action below.

The feature is only available to a small number of users right now but should likely be released globally somewhere down the line. When exactly will that happen is anyone’s guess right now, as Facebook hasn’t shared any info on this topic yet.

The Snooze feature looks promising, as it gives you more control over what you want and don’t want to see. It might not be for everyone — nothing ever is — but I do think a lot of people will find it useful and use it on a somewhat regular basis.
