Back in October EA rebooted the classic 90s PC game Dungeon Keeper and released it for Android, but only for select countries including Australia, Canada, and Singapore. The good news is that the game is now available worldwide!

It’s important to note that this isn’t a straight port of the PC version. Not only are the graphics overhauled significantly, it’s also been optimized for control via mobile devices and new mechanics are present that seem to push the game harder towards the tower defense genre than the original classic did.

Still, even if not all the changes are completely welcome (depends on your tastes), it’s still a relatively fun and addicting dungeon building experience.

The game is free to download, but there are plenty of in-app purchases thrown in. Unfortunately paying to play is almost necessary here, at least if you want to progress in a fast enough manner. To try Dungeon Keeper out for yourself you’ll want to head on over to Google Play.

For those that have already given it a go, let us know what you think of the game in the comments below.
