FAQs

Others will not receive a notification when you duet with their video. However, they can see the video if you make it public.

The most common reason for a delay in your duet is the audio being out of sync. Try to re-record the duet to resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, you cannot use a pre-recorded video to duet with another user. You can only duet with saved videos if the creator allows the option.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the TikTok app. The duet feature may not be available on older versions of the app.

Suppose you are using the latest version and still don’t see the option to Duet. In that case, it may be because the original video’s creator has set their account to private, or the video may not be eligible for dueting due to copyright or content restrictions set by TikTok.
