A new update has arrived for Dropbox, bringing Android 4.4.2 KitKat users an important bug fix. The latest version of Android apparently didn’t play nicely with the camera upload feature, as the app would stop background syncing of pictures. This meant that the only workaround was to manually upload everything to the service.

In addition to fixing this syncing issue with the new update, Dropbox is also adding a new setting that only allows camera photos to be uploaded from your Gallery app, so you don’t have to worry about other items being uploaded automatically. While no other changes are listed for the update, we image that there are also at least a few unspecified bug fixes, though probably nothing too major.

To grab the latest update for Dropbox, you’ll want to head over to Google Play now.
