As we noted earlier today, Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge were to be released around October of this year.

Now, Dropbox has announced that they are partnering with Samsung to allow users of Samsung devices, including the Galaxy Note 4, to have additional access to Dropbox. Those who purchase a Samsung Note 4 and use Dropbox for the first time will get 50 GB for 2 years.

On Dropbox’s blog, they also noted that:

  • Samsung users will be offered the option to automatically back them up on Dropbox from the Gallery app.
  • Samsung users will be able to save documents directly to Dropbox from the default mobile docs viewer or editor.

Samsung and Dropbox have already had a partnership since 2011 but this agreement adds additional features for those Samsung customers who use Dropbox.
