How to save Twitter videos on your computer
Many websites proclaim to download Twitter videos, but here is a couple that we’ve tested that work: SaveTweetVid and TwitterVideoDownloader. Both sites work the same way with a simple process. All you have to do is copy the link to the tweet containing the video you want to save, paste it into the text field on either site then click Download.
SaveTweetVid gives you a few different quality options (270p, 360p and 720p). You can also scan the QR code at the bottom of the page to quickly download the file to your phone or tablet.

Apple’s Shortcuts app is the best option for downloading videos from Twitter on iOS. Once installed, make sure to enable Allow Untrusted Shortcuts to be able to install user-created Shortcuts, such as Twitter videos. After that, you can save videos from Twitter to your Photos app with a few taps.
Find a tweet with the video you want to save and tap Share, then look for Twitter Video Downloader V3.1 in the list of options. Shortcuts will launch and ask what quality of video you want to save. That’s all there is to it.
