How to double-space in Microsoft Word
Altering the line and paragraph spacing in Microsoft Word is simple. If you haven’t started working on your document and know that you want to double-space everything, you can set your line spacing before you begin writing. Additionally, if you’ve already written in the document, you can highlight whichever sections you want to double-space.
From the Home tab in Microsoft Word, click the Line and Paragraph Spacing button in the Paragraph section.

Here, you can change the spacing of the document or whatever you have selected. Click 2.0 to double-space.
