Deleting a slide removes all of that content entirely from your presentation. If you remove a slide in the middle of your presentation, the slides positioned before and after it will appear in sequence.

  1. Right-click your slide.
  2. From the options that appear, select Delete Slide.

  1. Select all of the slides you wish to delete. You can do this by holding Ctrl on your keyboard and selecting all slides you want to delete from the list on the left.
  2. Right-click any of the selected slides.
  3. From the options that appear, select Delete Slide.

You can also delete a sequence of slides — or slides arranged sequentially in a row — by holding Shift instead of Ctrl in the above steps. After selecting the slides, right-click and select Delete Slide.

Is it possible to recover deleted slides in PowerPoint?

If you accidentally delete a slide you want back, press Ctrl+Z on your keyboard to undo your last action. This only works if you’ve deleted the slide recently while working on the presentation.

After you save and close the presentation, you cannot recover deleted slides unless you synchronize your work with OneDrive. That allows you to access version history and track your changes to undo a slide deletion.
