The Moto X4.
  • The Moto X4 and 64GB Moto G5S Plus have received $100 discounts, retailing for $299.99 and $249.99 respectively.
  • Lenovo has also cut the price of the Moto Z2 Force and the 32GB Moto G5S Plus.
  • The deals expire on June 30 or while stocks last, giving you some time to weigh up your options.

The Moto X4 and Moto G5S Plus are two of the better sub-$400 smartphones of 2017, each standing out in their own way. Both phones have received hefty discounts this week, making them worth a look once more.

The Moto X4 is now available for $299.99 on the Motorola website (h/t: Android Police), representing a $100 discount over the $399.99 launch price. Meanwhile, the 64GB Moto G5S Plus is retailing for $249.99, which is also a  $100 drop from the $349.99 launch price.

Both offers are available until June 30 at 11:59 P.M. or while stocks last. So you’ve still got some time to think about the deals or hold out for other promotions.

Are they worth buying?

Keen on the Moto X4 deal? You’ll be getting a phone with a mid-range Snapdragon 630 chipset, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, dual cameras (12MP+8MP), a 3,000mAh battery, and IP67 water/dust resistance. You’re also getting stock Android and regular updates, as the phone is part of the Android One initiative.

Android Authority‘s Lanh Nguyen enjoyed his time with the device, saying its attractive launch price and Android One made it stand out. “It may be a big departure from previous Moto X phones, but the Moto X4 certainly still hits all the right marks,” Lanh wrote in his Moto X4 review.

The Moto G5S Plus.

The discounted Moto G5S Plus isn’t too shabby, either, serving up a Snapdragon 625 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, dual cameras (13MP+13MP) and a 3,000mAh battery.

Our own David Imel praised the device in his Moto G5S Plus review, calling it a “fantastic alternative” to flagships. David heaped praise on the fast fingerprint reader, “simplistic yet compelling” software, and the hardware design.

Lenovo is also offering deals on a few more phones, including the 32GB Moto G5S Plus (from $279.99 to $229.99), and the Moto Z2 Force (from $720 to $500). Nevertheless, if you’re in the market for a new budget phone, the 64GB G5S Plus and Moto X4 deals are probably the most alluring discounts.
