    Hello All,

I'm new to ROM development and I'm setting up my build environment on a MAC because I have access to one but I've been on windows for the longest time. I do know standard linux commands from school and I'm not afraid of the command line so I have that going for me. I've was following the "Establishing a Build Environment" on "Android Source" for setting up on a MAC but I'm getting confused about the file structure and where to install things and where to sync your repository. I created a disk image called android.dmg like it said but there was a note to do all my work in there. The next page about installing repo and sync the repository doesn't differentiate between MAC and Linux and just states "Home". Should I still be doing everything in the android image?

Thanks in advance for any help!
