Many people have turned to laptops for their work-from-home setups, but desktop computers are a sensible option. They aren’t as easily portable, but they’re often superior for heavy-duty tasks like gaming and video editing. We’ve put together some of the best desktop computer deals currently available for your home office.
Desktop computers are far easier to open up and upgrade than laptops, but we’re not going to dig into the best upgrades here. This list mainly focuses on towers, though there are a few all-in-ones as well.
The best desktop computer deals

1. HP 24-inch All-in-One desktop
The first all-in-one on the list, HP’s desktop is a great way to keep all of your components close at hand. This 23.8-inch display packs a pop-up webcam, Intel Core i3 CPU, and more. You get both a keyboard and mouse right in the box, so you can pretty much plug in and go. HP also tapped 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD to keep you moving.
Feel free to add all of the peripherals you need with the four USB-A ports, Ethernet port, and even an HDMI option.

2. 27-inch Apple iMac
Most of our desktop deals focus on Windows, and that’s no accident. It’s typically much easier to find discounts when you look outside of Apple. However, we do have one discount on an iMac to show you. Right now, you can grab this powerful all-in-one, complete with a crisp 5K display and an Intel Core i5 processor. It also packs 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, much like the HP deal above.
Apple’s iMac measures 27-inches across and includes two USB-C ports along with four USB-A options.
3. HP ProDesk 600 G6
If you’ve settled on HP but need more power, the ProDesk line might be for you. These desktops pack plenty of power into a small footprint thanks to Intel’s 10th-generation Core i5 processor onboard. You’ll get 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD to go along with it, and there’s an extra M.2 2280 slot in case you need more storage. 4. Acer Aspire TC-895 desktop
The Acer Aspire TC-895 may be one of our less-assuming models, but it’s an excellent desktop deal any way you look at it. You get a 10th-generation Core i5 processor and 12GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB NVMe SSD. Acer’s premium desktop packs just enough style to stand out, and there’s still a disk drive for those of you holding onto the old ways.

5. Dell XPS 8940 desktop
You’re probably already familiar with Dell’s premium XPS line of laptops, but you may not have known that it offers desktop configurations as well. This version comes equipped with Intel’s latest 11th-generation Core i5 chip onboard, as well as 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512GB SSD. If there’s one area that the XPS desktop is lacking, it’s the integrated Intel UHD 730 Graphics, but you’re probably not eyeing this desktop up as a gaming powerhouse.

You don’t always need the largest or brightest option to secure peak desktop performance. Lenovo’s IdeaCentre Mini 5 packs a pretty big punch into a tiny footprint. It’s not the easiest machine to open up and modify, but the 16GB of RAM and Core i7 processor mean that you shouldn’t need to. Lenovo even wedged a 512GB SSD right into the heart of the action.
The back panel is loaded with ports, and you’ll find an additional USB-A port paired with a USB-C option around the front.

8. Lenovo IdeaCentre 3
Our last desktop deal of the day brings us back to Lenovo. This is one of the more stylish desktops, and it matches the rest of Lenovo’s peripherals perfectly. You’ll find a fairly light setup on the inside — 4GB of DDR4 RAM, a 1TB HDD, and AMD’s Athlon Silver chip. Lenovo added a good mix of USB and HDMI ports, so don’t be afraid to grab some accessories.
