AT&T offers double the data on 15 GB and higher Mobile Share Value plans
Starting September 27 through October 31, AT&T is offering double the data that current users are provided from Mobile Share Value plans providing 15GB to 50GB of data. The offer is available to existing as well as new customers. Basically, those on a 15GB plan will be upgraded to a 30GB plan while those on a 50GB plan will be upgraded to a 100GB plan.
Additionally, AT&T says that if you sign up for this promotional deal, you can keep the new amount of monthly data for as long as you want. AT&T customers who sign up for this offer will be given domestic unlimited talk and text, as well as unlimited international messaging from the U.S. to select countries.
AT&T also requires those who want to sign up for this plan to sign up for AT&T’s Next phone upgrade program. Current AT&T customers who are on an older AT&T plan with unlimited data and Family Talk and try to sign up for this deal will have their subsidy eliminated, forcing the customers off-contract or through AT&T Next.
The pricing and plan breakdown is as follows:
Do not forget that the above prices do not include the per-line $15 monthly “access fee” for AT&T Next customers while those who sign up for a service contract with the carrier will pay $40 per month per line.
Last month, Sprint announced a new offer which includes 20GB of shared data plus an additional 2GB of data per line for $100 a month to new customers switching from other carriers (along with a $350 Visa Prepaid Card to cover early termination fees.
