Here’s another cheap Android tablet that you might want to consider: the MSI Windpad Enjoy, and it’s reported to retail at just $199.

The Windpad Enjoy 7 is one of the two Android tablets MSI announced on May 31, the other one being the Enjoy 10, which was already spotted earlier at FCC. Just recently, its smaller brother has been seen at FCC too, signaling that they are going to be out in the market very very soon.

Enjoy 7 is reported to be powered by a single core 1.2 GHz processor, with other specs including Bluetooth 2.1, microSD card slots, Wi-Fi connectivity, 2MP cameras on front and rear sides, built-in 4GB memory, and 512MB RAM– quite passing for a mid-range Android tablet.

The 7-inch touch screen tablet of 800 x 480 resolution will run on Android 2.3. Weighing 395 g, the device can stay on for 6 hours. The design is pretty sleek too, with a curvy and glossy finish and metal rear side. Enjoy 10 shares the same specs as Enjoy 7, except for the screen size and battery longetivity.

Experts see the release of MSI’s Enjoy range as untimely, going head-to-head with Lenovo’s IdeaPad A1. Lenovo will release an Android 2.3 tablet with better specs: 1024 x 600 resolution, longer battery life, bigger storage capabilities, and built-in GPS to be retailed at the same $199 price.

Supply chain-wise, Lenovo is expected to emerge as the winner, having a stable network of distributors in North America. Because of the competition MSI faces versus Lenovo, experts expect a dip in the price of the Enjoy 7 and 10.
