Google has been hard at work with Android Wear and it seems they won’t stop improving the platform anytime soon. A new update has just started pushing out to Android Wear devices, which so far only include the LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live.

Furthermore, very few people have an Android Wear device in their possession. Only testers and those 6,000 Google IO attendees have the privilege of owning one right now. At least we know there will be an update to be had as soon as the device reaches your wrist.

The update brings forth Android Wear software version KMV78V, which comes with no change log or announcement. There are no noticeable changes in the experience and UI. This leads us to believe this could very well be a simply maintenance update, involving the usual bug fixes and performance improvements.

This is yet another reason why investing into Android Wear could be a good idea. The software is unaltered through all devices, at least so far. This makes it will be amazingly simple to update them, and they will all work similarly. It will really just be a battle of aesthetics and preferences.

Those who are not getting the upgrade notification can tap the screen and scroll down to Settings > About > System updates (yes, it works with Android Wear too).
