Earlier today, HTC finally announced the all-new HTC One, bringing us improved specs, enhanced software and revamped aesthetics that borrow heavily from the original HTC One. In all our previous coverage we’ve focused on the HTC One (M8) rocking a brushed Gunmetal gray color, but those aren’t the only colors on offer from HTC.

Depending on your carrier and region, HTC also plans to sell the handset in glacial silver and amber gold. In the above video, we get a closer look at the latter of these color options. As you can see, the Amber Gold version of the HTC One (M8) trades in the hairline brushed metal of the gray edition of the handset, and instead has a look that’s actually a bit more akin to the last-gen HTC One — particularly the champagne gold HTC One (m7).

It’s important to note that the Amber Gold version of the HTC One will be sold exclusively through Best Buy, so if you’re interested in picking it up in this flavor, you won’t be able to snag the handset directly through your carrier. Keep in mind that the handset should be avaliable through all of Best Buy’s carrier partners, which unfortunately doesn’t include T-Mobile.

What do you think, do you like the gold version of the M8, or do you prefer the brushed metal look instead?
