Earlier this month AllCast was updated to add official support for Chromecast, and now Koush is back with yet another important update for the app, which includes a major UI redesign. While the new design is probably the most noticeable change, there’s also Muzei support and healthy dose of bug fixes that address Chromecast issues and more.

Here’s the full change-log with all the bug fixes listed:

  • Major UI redesign
  • Muzei support
  • Chromecast fixes
  • Playlist fixes
  • Possibly fixed video thumbnail crash fix on Samsung
  • Chromecast icon update
  • Set app to free while bugs are fixed
  • More Crash fixes
  • MKV fixes
  • Long click audio to add to playlist
  • Crash fixes
  • Fix Chromecast seek

For those that have never tried AllCast, if you’re looking for a way to bring their local media over to a Chromecast, or even devices like Roku or game consoles, this is one of the best solutions around. On the downside, it does require a $4.99 premium license to truly get the most out of the experience. Luckily, you can at least try the basic version for free.

You can grab the latest version of All Cast now, via Google Play. What do you think of the updated look, like it or not?
