AIO Wireless raises data caps and drops pricing, now starting as low as $35

This morning we reported that Sprint-based MNVO Ting has cut its data costs down considerably, and now it looks like another MVNO following suit with its own price cuts. AIO Wireless is not only reducing its plan pricing, it’s also upping the amount of data included.

AIO offers three plans now priced at $40, $50 or $60 per month. The cheapest plan now includes 500MB of full-speed data (reduced after that) and unlimited talk/text. Next up we have a $50 plan with 2.5GB of data and the same unlimited talk text, adding 500MB more than the previous $55 plan. At the top of the heap is the $60 plan, which offers 5GB of data, which is unfortunately a 2GB drop from the existing 7GB plan.

These prices are already sound great, but it gets even better. First, AIO Wireless includes taxes and other fees into the price — so you are paying exactly what’s advertised. Second, if you sign up for an auto-pay plan, AIO Wireless will knock the pricing on the plans down further by $5!

Although Straight Talk might be similarly priced, the AT&T-based AIO Wireless has the advantage of clearer terms when it comes to throttling and also reportedly has much better customer service than Straight Talk. The only downside is that AIO Wireless does cap speeds at a max of 8 Mb/s, which could be a deal-breaker for some users.
