Deal alert: $490 for a new 32GB Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge
The price of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has come down a little since its launch, but eBay seller 232Tech seems to have the best deal around. For just $490 you can grab a brand new 32GB Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925F), complete with shipping. That works out to a $225 saving over the $715 regular retail price.
It’s worth noting that this is the global unlocked model, so it’s modem doesn’t support the Verizon, Boost, Sprint or US Cellular networks. It’s always best to check your carrier’s bands against the supported frequencies listed below:
- 2G GSM: 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
- 3G HSDPA: 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
- 4G LTE: 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 8(900), 12(700), 17(700), 18(800), 19(800), 20(800), 26(850)
I’m sure you’re familiar with what the S6 Edge has to offer by now, but here’s a quick recap. The smartphone features Samsung’s 5.1-inch QHD curved Super AMOLED display and is powered by the company’s own octa-core Exynos 7420 processor. The handset also features 3GB of RAM, a 16 megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, a 5 megapixel front facing camera, a 2,600mAh battery, fingerprint scanner and dual-more wireless charging.
The Edge display opens up some more novel software features and not forgetting that US customers can now make use of Samsung Pay with this smartphone. For a closer look at the Galaxy S6 Edge, be sure to check out our full review below.
If smartwatches are more your thing, US customers can also grab a Gear S2 for $250 through Adorama with promo code 50OFFJAN. Alternatively, there’s $50 off the classic model using the same code, which drops the price to $300. There’s also an extra $50 saving available via a mail-in rebate.
Although the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7 is right around the corner, at this price the S6 Edge is pretty tough to pass up.
