There’s a lot to love about the Xperia Z Ultra and Z Ultra GPe, such as their high-end specs and the massive display size. For those looking to improve the camera experience on the Z Ultra by adding a QX10 or QX100 however, there is one problem: it’s impossible to properly mount these lenses on Sony’s behemoth of a smartphone.
With that in mind, Sony has now announced a new hard case for the Z Ultra that will house the QX-series without a hitch, all while adding further protection for your device. These cases are pretty much the same as we’ve already seen for the Xperia Z, only bigger.
So how much does the case cost and where can you get it? Price wise, the case is about $30, but there is a catch — it’s only been announced for Hong Kong. That said, it’s probably only a matter of time before it launches in other markets as well.
Anyhow, if you’re an owner of the Z Ultra that’s been interested in picking up a QX lens, you’ll want to keep an eye out for this one.

seems like an expensive addition to a device with a poor camper.
Didn’t realise that the Z Ultra comes with a bad quality Volkswagen hippie van.
The Xperia does NOT have a poor camera.
People just have to realize that Z Ultra comes with almost same quality camera as S3. How many people you have seen complaining about S3 camera?
The thing is that on such huge screen any 8 MP just looks poor. If you compare photo taken on Z Ultra and S3 on computer or on screen of same size you will see that they are identical.
The only place where Z Ultra losses completely is low light and nothing can be done with it.
