So it looks like the uproar over Sony not making the Xperia T available for folks in the UK who fancy purchasing their phone contract-free until 2013 has proven to be – as the Brits…

While James Bond didn’t don a white suit on his Skyfall adventure, he actually has a smartphone (it’s called the James Bond phone, haven’t you heard?) that comes in a matching color. In case you’re wondering, we’re talking about the Sony Xperia T's white flavor.
Those who are looking to get the phone SIM free can now head to Clove’s website to pre-order it, where it’s selling for £378, tax included. It’s the same contract-free price as the black variant, with the only difference being the white Xperia T won’t ship until December 4.
As enticing as the Xperia T is, it still ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. However, an upgrade to Jelly Bean has been promised to arrive in Q1 2013. We’re sure Sony wouldn’t want to upset the 007 agent by delaying the Android 4.1 update.
