Requirements

• A rooted Sony Xperia T LT30p or Sony Xperia TL LT30at with ClockworkMod Recovery installed. For help, check these guides:

• Enable USB Debugging Mode. Go to Settings > Developer Options > USB Debugging.

• Make sure your device's battery still has at least 70% power. You don't want the device to shut down in the middle of the procedure.
• Backup all personal data on your phone to make sure you have a copy of your personal data (e.g., contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide erases such data.

Instructions

Updating your firmware to 7.0.A.1.303

1. Install Flashtool by launching flashtool-0.9.10.1-windows.exe. Choose the full install option and make sure to apply the latest updates.
2. Drag and drop the 303.ftf file of your choice to the open Flashtool window and follow the instructions.
3. Once prompted to enter Flashmode, do the following:
   • Turn your phone off.
   • Press and hold down the Volume Down button while connecting your phone to your computer via USB.
   • Release the Volume Down button.
4. Follow the set of instructions displayed in Flashtool.

Installing the XperimenT ROM

1. Copy the XperimenT ROM ZIP file to your phone's SD card.
2. Turn your phone off.
3. Boot into Recovery Mode. To do this, hold down the Power button while pressing the Volume Down button repeatedly until the phone boots into recovery.
4. Create a NANDroid Backup. Select Backup and Restore > Backup.
5. Select Wipe Cache Partition > Yes.
6. Select Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache > Yes.
7. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset > Yes.
8. Select Install ZIP from SD Card > Choose ZIP from SD Card > select the XperimenT ROM file > Yes.
9. Select Go Back > Reboot System Now.
10. On your computer, launch Flashtool by double-clicking on the executable file.
11. Drag and drop the LT30p_7.0.A.3.223_CE_kernel.ftf file into the open Flashtool window and follow the instructions.
12. Once prompted to enter Flashmode, do the following:
    • Turn your phone off
    • Press and hold down the Volume Down button while connecting your phone to your computer via USB.
    • Release the Volume Down button.
13. Follow the set of instructions displayed in Flashtool.
