Are we only allowed to mention bezels if it is an HTC phone then? This phone looks like a mid range phone to me. Nothing would make me buy this phone. It is inferior to all other flagships in every way.

Open Camera is an excellent replacement camera app and it is free. FV-5 is another alternative but you do have to pay to unlock all the features.

I agree also htc has terrible pricing policy, 649$ USA, 749€ (837$) Europe is definitely a fail in Europe for htc U11. Hopefully, price will be adapted when the phone comes. HTC need change in leaders. They do many things wrong, but they still make awesome phones.

To me HTC is incredibly overpriced and hasn’t had a good phone since the One M7. It’s good you enjoy them, I hope for your sake they are still around in a few years. If their sales continue to fall they probably wont be.

We obviously don’t understand each other and think and see things differently, so no need to torture each other. To me htc is, if not the best, than one of the best manufacturers, and no huawei or any other Chinese phone can stand shoulder to shoulder in quality next to one htc U11 or S8. They should be more expensive, they are better phones, with more features, better quality features, better UIs, after sale support, updates and top quality inbuilt parts. Should htc U11, S8 and G6 cost less? They probably could, but they are top phones, something China never ever produced.

When you say I am disappointed in Chinese manufacturers, HTC included that is implying they are included with the Chinese manufacturers.

Chinese manufacturers are big sellers around the world. Huawei has seen huge growth in Europe, in some countries it sells more than Apple and is second only to Samsung. ZTE and OPPO have also seen success in Europe. They have all continued to increase sales since 2015. HTC is been falling fast in Europe. Huawei surpassed them in 2015 and hasn’t looked back. HTC is an overpriced piece of junk that is technologically years behind Huawei.

Exactly, htc included in manufacturers I am dissapointed with. Not included in Chinese manufacturers. Isn’t that clear? All Chinese are big sellers only in China and some in India. In Europe where I am from, Chinese phones and their UIs are not popular at all, and after service, repairs, updates are non existent. HTC is a class above all Chinese, from top to bottom.

LeEco will not exist in the US, at least not the way they currently do. The US represents less than 1% of their total business. In China they are still successful.

But that has absolutely nothing to do with your incorrect statement that companies switch to USB C audio to save money. It is cheaper to use onboard audio.
