As always, we work tirelessly to provide you the most relevant and interesting news to you, dear Android fans. Well, here’s some: We’ve been tipped off courtesy of TmoNews that Walmart has already started to sell the HTC Sensation – arguably HTC”s most tempting (non-3D) Android superphone.

While it’s still uncertain if all Walmart’s have access to this delightful piece of tech, we are certain that a substantial number of them have already been purchased. Some lucky folks have been buying it from Walmart for low, low price of $148.88. Plus, it comes bundled with an 8GB microSD card – not bad!

The HTC Sensation is an awesome device, and is looking to be one of HTC’s best Android phones this year. It features a 4.3″ qHD display, a very powerful 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, one of the latest builds of Android – Android 2.3, and an 8-megapixel rear camera, front facing camera, DLNA, HSPA+ support, and more. It also will come preloaded with HTC Listen, T-Mobile TV, T-Mobile video chat, and Slacker Radio.

Initially announced to cost $199.99 after a $50 rebate with a 2-year contract, getting it for $148.88 is a pretty much as good as it’s going to get folks. Any chance you will be picking up one this weekend?

The only catch is that you have to be eligible for the full upgrade or start a new line. My contract is not up until Sept 2011 and I was not eligible for this great deal. IF your contract is up and you want this phone I would not pass up the deal. The Walmart store I went to in Houston had several on Wed June 8th. I will be picking up this phone on 15th when it appears that TMO stores will have this great phone. I still do not understand the logic of letting Walmart sell this phone before TMO stores can.

Is Wal-mart offering this phone for outright purchase? If so, what is the full purchase price? I’m eligible for an upgrade, but I’d rather go month-to-month at this point and buy my phone. Also, any news on how widespread Wal-marts have the Sensation in stock?
