The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE finally has a release date next to it, after it was initially pegged to be available at the end of March or beginning of April. According to TmoNews, which…
The Wall Street Journal started off another Android related story by stating that T-Mobile’s first Android OS powered device is “expected” to go on sale for US$199 and will “showcase” the Google brand. They are, of course, quoting those ever popular “people familiar with the matter.”
The story goes on to say that the $199 price will require a service contract with T-Mobile, meaning that the price is subsidized, and that T-Mobile will offer new “aggressively priced” data plans for use with the device.
Considering that T-Mobile already has a $20 unlimited data plan that even includes access to its WiFi hotspot network, I don’t know how much more aggressive they can get.
