Feel like the volume levels are a tad low on your Galaxy Nexus? The developer of Volume+ has got your covered, with v1.8.1.0 beta now available for download.

The updated version seeks to cure the low volume on the Nexus with Ice Cream Sandwich but the developer said it should also work for those on Gingerbread and Honeycomb.

Some of the changes, aside from ICS compatibility are the much higher volume levels, which now goes up to +20. EQ values have also been completely changed and the band frequencies are also visible.

The good thing about this tweak is that it works on the volume across different sources such as speaker volume, headset volume, and even Bluetooth and in-call volumes. You can customize the volume level for each one of them. So if you want louder music but regular phone call volumes, that can be set within the tweak.
