OnePlus-3-1

It was a busy week for the Android Authority family. Not only did Android Authority’s YouTube channel review several phones including the new OnePlus 3, we also saw the launch of a brand new sibling site and YouTube channel, VR Source!

Center to the launch of VR Source, many of our Android Authority and VR Source team members were on the ground in Los Angeles for E3 2016. While the vast majority of the videos were aimed at VR, the whole team had a ton of fun and helped produce some amazing content.

Without further ado, here are the Android-related videos you don’t want to miss this week.

Reviews galore!

OnePlus 3 review

After many a rumor, the OnePlus 3 has finally been announced and you know it didn’t take long for Joshua Vergara to get in action. We played around with the OnePlus 3 and have our full thoughts put together in the form of a full review. Is this the phone for you? Go ahead and find out!

Samsung Galaxy S7 Active review

Meanwhile, Lang Nguyen was busy getting ready to show you what the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is all about. This phone has stellar performance, a great display and a build quality that is made to withstand even the most demanding smartphone abusers, but it does come with some downsides. Take a look at the full review to see if this rugged, high-end smartphone can handle you.

Meizu Pro 6 review

Looking for something more affordable? Maybe the Meizu Pro 6 will tickle your fancy. Crystal has given us a full review and the phone has turned out to be pretty good. The aluminium design, fast fingerprint reader and awesome display set it apart for the competition, but the lower price does warrant some sacrifices too.

Sony Xperia X Review

That’s a handful of reviews, right? There’s always room for a good handset from Sony, and the Xperia X may just be what you are looking for. It costs $549.99 off-contract and is a good contender, but does it have what it takes to compete in the mid-end market?

VR Source gets launched!

We have been working very hard on a new project. VR Source is our new sister site, especially dedicated to bring you great content regarding the virtual reality. Interested in VR? Visit the website to find out the latest news, trends, tutorials reviews and more!

There was all kinds of fun at E3 2016. Literally… even the naughty kind. Naughty America may not be known for games, but they are all about VR content. The porn producer was at the show floor giving us a good look at some very interesting videos. Yup… that’s all we will say.

Farpoint in PlayStation VR

Let’s stop the naughty thoughts and get back to gaming. Those who are more interested in shooter games will find this Farpoint demo extremely enticing. It not only uses the PlayStation VR headset, but also uses the light gun. It looks weird, but is actually very fun and useful. Check it out!
