We don’t have a release date for the Samsung Epic 4G but Spring have gone ahead and made a comparison video between their two super-high end smartphone devices, the HTC EVO 4G and the Samsung Epic 4G. Sprint are actually pretty hands-on when it comes to promoting devices themselves, but I have never seen a direct comparison like this before. The video is pretty balanced without stating that one phone is ‘better’ than the other, and focusing purely on their relative strengths.
Epic 4G offers
- slide out QWERTY keyboard
- Super AMOLED display
- Awesome graphics (PowerVR SGX540)
EVO 4G offers
- Larger display
- High MP camera
- HDMI-out port
- Already updated to Android 2.2
The rumor mill has it that the Epic 4G will cost around at $199 with 2-year contract and might be available as early as August 21st.
