News on the Samsung Galaxy Lite i5700 continues to flow as ai.rs blog managed to get what they call a ‘World Exclusive’ with the device. They confirm some of the specifications that we had alluded to last week, verifying that the device will in fact offer a 3.2-megapixel camera with no flash, as well as just 1GB of on-board memory. This is a somewhat of a downgrade from the i7500, but we are assured that the price point will follow.
The good news is that the i5700 uses exactly the same AMOLED touch-screen as the i7500, along with all the connectivity options. To put it another way, the only thing that is different is the camera and the on-board memory. The gallery after the jump is courtesy of ai.rs blog, but the luminous lime green chassis will be unlikely to hit the shelves. The FCC has already confirmed this device so it is quite possible that we shall be seeing the device land in the USA.
