Some time ago, we brought you news of LG’s intent to create a new flagship phone. in the last few days we confirmed that news. We’re now here to report they have a video teaser site up that will entice your wicked curiosity. The name has been switched from the ‘D1L’ and will be a ’2nd gen’ quad core device, unlike the 4X HD which hit Europe in June.

This will apparently be a beast of a phone containing a 720p 4.7-inch IPS display, a 13-megapixel camera, and 2GB of RAM. As far as the actual processor goes, LG says it’s a Qualcomm APQ8064. I’ll let the videos do the rest of the talking. Do be aware they are in Korean, so unless you know Hangul, you may just have to stare in wonder. Details may be few but if we hear anything at IFA 2012 or beyond, you’ll be the first to know!

Those are really good specs, but the price will probably be almost twice as much as that other 2nd gen quad core phone (the chinese, you know what I mean, I can’t remember the name…)…

    Edit: now I remember, xiaomi mi2 :)
