Taiwan has recently played host to IT Month, and Netbook News were in attendance keeping an eye out for anything of merit. Making it through their quality filter was the N18 MID from Inventec. The reason why this device is of interest primarily lies in the fact that it sports a 4.8-inch WVGA touchscreen, besides being just a regular netbook too. Did we mention it runs Android? Well it does.

To accompany this unusual characteristic (the screen, that is), Inventec have included 250GB of storage along with a full QWERTY keyboard. There is little information regarding Bluetooth and WiFi specifications at the moment, but a little digging should pull those up pretty soon. The whole package will set you back $350 dollars (US). No one appears to have this thing out on pre-order as of yet, but in January this device should be attracting more attention for a 2010 sales launch, so we’ll keep an eye out.
