Here’s part one of our in-depth look at the HTC Hero for Sprint.

If you have any specific questions on the device, whether related to the hardware and UI or not, feel free to post them as comments to the Questions post.  I’ll try to answer all the questions that I can, even if I can’t cover them in a video.

The HTC Hero could _almost_ make me consider switching to Sprint.

I really, really like this phone. But not enough to move to Sprint.

Excellent video! My contract is up in November and I’m trying to decide which android phone to get. I like the hero, but I liked the euro versions looks better. I also really liked the Samsung Galaxy, but it looks like we’re going to get a “Lite” version that downgrades all the features I liked about it.

What’s the latest word on Galaxy lite? Is it still coming soon? Any confirmed specs?

Sprint’s network is amazing. I’ve been with them for 6 years, and all the network issues I’ve had with other carriers happen substantially less often with Sprint (dropped calls, missed calls that don’t register with the handset, etc), plus, no one offers a better set of plans. I have unlimited everything and unlimited minutes for $100 a month. Beat that from a national carrier with the kind of quality network Sprint has.
