There is a preview available for the mobile version of Firefox, called Fennec, which is scheduled to arrive on Android sometime at the end of this year. The video shows us something that is clearly a little buggy, but the general principles are certainly there. I guess they would have to be otherwise ‘MartinSchirr’ would not have released this video.
It would appear as though this particular version is only going to work for Android 2.0 or later, which does make sense given that by the time this application is ready, Android 9.1 is probably going to be out (ok, maybe not). Anyway, if your curious check out the Youtube video after the jump to grab a look at what will surely be one of the most popular applications for Android when it is available in a fully functioning form.

Nelson is a genius, operating systems shouldn’t be so “feature driven” but lightweight, fast, and efficient. OS on a ram is not a new idea but Chrome was one of the first to get it into mainstream computing. I also think most computer accelerators like GPU, FPGA, and so on should be considered as app dedicated units, Windows sucking the life out of GPU in idle is ridiculous-same with Mac, some linux distros and so on.
