It seems that Acer are putting the launch date of the A1 Liquid device back a few days and instead of a November launch, we can now expect the device to land during December, still in time for the holidays. This Android 1.6 touch-screen phone is allegedly suitable for an upgrade to Android 2.0 over the air, when it becomes available.
The A1 will be Acer’s first Android based mobile phone offering and will ship in White, Black and Red. The 3.5 inch screen offers WVGA (800 X 480 pixels) along with multitouch support. If you are unaware of the most significant technical specifications change, Acer have opted for the 768 MHz and not the 1 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8250 processor. With that bit of bad news aside, there is a live video of the Acer A1 Liquid after the jump.
