Verizon phone catalog

In the most recent edition of the alleged Verizon Wireless’ summer device catalog, the replacement for the Motorola Droid has shown its face. It is imaginatively named, Droid 2. To set things straight, everyone has known about this device for ages but has not really known what to call it, nor how Verizon would bran it. It would seem as though Verizon are going with the straight forward approach, probably to capitalize on the branding of the original (and successful) product name.

The source of the tip, BGR, are reporting that the Motorola Droid 2 will pack an 8GB memory card preinstalled, 5 megapixel camera, 3G Mobile Hotspot functionality, and 1GHz CPU.
