Grab free music streaming, apps, movies and more with Verizon's Connection Day

Verizon’s “Connection Day” is here! Don’t know what that is? You might not, because it’s brand new. The idea behind Connection Day is simple. The day before Thanksgiving is one of the busiest days of the year for travel, so the company is offering tons of free streaming programs, apps, movies, and much more. And if you’re a Verizon customer, you even get a “special” surprise. Let’s take a look to see what you can take advantage of today.

• Using Verizon’s FiOS preview app, users can stream popular movies and television shows for today.
• Free digital content is coming from Amazon today, allowing users to download up to 10 free tracks to add to your Amazon Music library. If you’re a Prime member, Amazon will throw in 10 recommended playlists for your travels. You can also grab 10 free apps from the Amazon Appstore.
• Audible is giving users two free audiobooks if you sign up for a two-month trial. Current Audible customers can grab a $10 gift card, but must be used within 60 days.
• Apple is throwing in a free day of iTunes radio with “limited interruptions.”
• At participating airports, Boingo Wireless and Gogo are offering free Wi-Fi for the day.
• You can download the latest editions of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Wired, and more from Condé Nast for today only.
• JetBlue is offering free in-flight Wi-Fi for users today and on December 31st.
• Last but not least, Pandora One is available for a 7-day free trial. No interruptions, no ads!

If you’re a Verizon customer, surprises don’t stop there. If you’re on a More Everything plan (which most of you probably are), you can take advantage of an extra GB of data for free added on to your monthly bill. You’ll also receive an additional GB of data on next month’s bill, just because. If you aren’t on a More Everything plan though, you’ll get yourself a discount on the Mophie Powerstation 4000 battery pack.
